Asics Onitsuka Tiger - Fish Gutter

Turning the Olympics on its head. We added a special twist to the Onitsuka Tiger campaign in the run-up to the Athens 2004 Olympics. Instead of going head to head with superstar athletes in TV commercials, we reached out to the influential art house crowd, knowing their word of mouth quickly reaches the mainstream.

We created a short film about a Japanese fish gutter who runs a marathon on his fingers, wearing Tiger shoes. We entered The Running Fish Gutter into 50 film festivals, and released a viral teaser to maximize awareness. Online, we launched the first upside-down web site. This campaign was done in StrawberryFrog's Amsterdam office.
